Local nurse arrested for falsifying business records

SYRACUSE, Februry 8, 2010 -- On February 5, the New York State Department of Health Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement Unit in Syracuse and the New York State Police in Elbridge arrested Terri L. Dean, 56 years old, of Freeville, for first-degree falsifying business records, a Class E felony.

While working as a RN at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse on January 8, Dean placed a false entry into an automated pharmacy dispensing system to unlawfully obtain an opiate.

Dean was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the City of Syracuse Court on March 3, 2010.
