Utica man charged with attempted robbery

UTICA, July 30, 2010-- A Utica Man allegedly attempted to rob the Burrstone Road Friendly’s store on Thursday evening.

31-year-old Stefan H. Rubitski, Utica, is accused of walking into the restaurant and handing an employee a note demanding money.

According to police, employees were able to keep Rubitski from leaving the restaurant, and no one was injured during the robbery and no weapons were displayed.

Rubitski is charged with Robbery. He's being held at Oneida County Jail in lieu of $10,000.00 bail.
