Destito: Assembly budget proposal cuts spending and shrinks state government

March 29, 2010 -- Assemblywomen RoAnn Destito (D-Rome) announced that the Assembly budget proposal includes a plan to consolidate state agencies and promote shared services. The plan would save the state over $30 million by consolidating 37 agencies and streamlining management.
