Imagine you are involved in a bad car accident.. and then the cops, your insurance company subpoena your phone record and see text messages at the time of the crash. You may not only end up with a ticket, but with a refusal of payment from your insurance company. Think that's far fetched? It's not. You will see it. Think they will have issues proving a relationship between time of text and time of crash.
