True? Paterson scandal could mean resignation as early as Monday

ALBANY, Feb 7, 2010-- The rumor mill is working overtime in Albany as word of an 'capital scandal' could lead to the resignation of Governor Paterson, as early as Monday, sources say.

The speculation about a supposed "bombshell" NY Times story about Governor David Paterson has been percolating since last week.

Now, the Business Insider offers, "We've now heard from a single source familiar with the goings on at the Governor's office that the story will likely drop on Monday, and that the governor's resignation will follow."

This is old news and there will be no resignation. The insiders are on a witch hunt for Paterson and he won't fall for it.

I say Paterson will upset all the pundits and win the primary and general election. Don't underestimate this guy.

Also, this story makes it sound like it's all true. The latest news is that the story will not run and the Gov. has clearly stated he will not resign.
