Troopers investigate stabbings in Westmoreland

WESTMORELAND, March 9, 2010 -- The State Police in Marcy are currently investigating a serious domestic incident which occurred at approximately 9:40 p.m. on Monday at 205 Pazdur Boulevard.

Located at the scene were Todd C. Smith, 34, and Jenise M. Haddad-Smith, 48, 134 Haddad Road, Frankfort, both of whom were suffering from stab wounds.

Both subjects were transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Utica, where they are being treated for their injuries. There were no witnesses to this incident.

The investigation and forensic analysis of the scene are continuing in order to determine the primary aggressor in this incident.

The State Police were assisted at the scene by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Department.  Updates on the status of this investigation will be issued as further information becomes available.
