MARCY, July 17, 2010 -- It's been a tough week for Marcy-based car parts dealer Vince's U-Pull-It.

First, on Monday, state police responded to the parts yard on reports of a larceny. State police say the witnesses had the license plate number of people they say stole $600 worth of car parts.

The ensuing investigation resulted in the arrest of 28-year-old John Finster of Blossvale and 24-year-old Chad Aikens of Rome. Both men were charged with petit larceny.

Then, on Wednesday, a man was arrested after taking two stolen vehicles to Vince's.

Police say the two cars were stolen from a Utica home and, in the course of their investigation they found the cars at the scrapyard. Utica 31-year-old William DeSantis was arrested for the thefts and charged with two counts criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.
