ALBANY, Feb 27, 2010-- Here are updated results from the State Wrestling tournament in Albany.

96 lb Weight Class  Div II

Laken Cook of Ilion decisioned Jack Leguelaff 8-0.  Cook has now guranteed a top 6 finish.  He next wrestles John Aslanian of Edgemont in Section I for a shot at third or fourth place.

160 lb Weight Class   Div II   Semi Finals

Zach Zupan loses 8-3 to Craig Scot of Pal-Mac.  Zupan moves down to wrestle back.

215 lbs. Div II Semi Finals

Holland Patent's Matt Rees lost to top seed Nick Gwiazdowski of Duanesburg, 6-2.  He will move down to the losers bracket to wrestle for third and fourth.

Laken Cook of Ilion loses in Consolation, Awarded 4th place in NYS

Matt Rees of Holland Patent wins in consolation and takes third.

Zach Zupan loses in overtime, takes fourth place.

Tyler Sirota of Canastota takes sixth place.
