New Hartford Hockey plays today at 2

NEW HARTFORD, March 6, 2010-- The New Hartford Spartans hockey team is on the road to another Division II State title today as they play in the first round of the state tourney today at 2 p.m. at the New Hartford Rec Center, and rival Webster-Thomas is in their way.

It's a rematch of last season's Regional Finals played in Brockport when New Hartford defeated the then defending state champions 3-1.

Webster-Thomas of Section V is 22-1 and ranked #1 in the State.  New Hartford, ranked #3, is 18-4-1.

A win today would move the Spartans into next week's final four tournament at the Utica Auditorium.
